How to Make Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric Detox Tea
My family and I eat a healthy, balanced diet most of the time, but we also incorporate detox drinks into our regimen because we always feel good afterwards. Our go-to recipe is this turmeric detox tea because all of the ingredients are already sitting in the pantry, so we can make it anytime, really. It just needs some green tea (loose leaves or teabags will do), ground turmeric, apple cider vinegar, and some raw honey to sweeten. The turmeric is simmered first then removed from the heat before the green tea and then lastly the apple cider vinegar and honey. As you can see, it’s a very straightforward recipe that you can make at anytime.

Ingredients
2 tsp loose green tea or 2 bags of green tea
½ tsp ground turmeric
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
raw honey or pure maple syrup to taste
3 cups water
Instructions
- Add the turmeric and water to a saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium high heat and then remove from the heat.
- Add the green tea and let it sit for 3 minutes.
- Strain out the tea.
- Add the apple cider vinegar.
- Sweeten with raw honey or pure maple syrup to taste.
- Divide between two mugs and serve.
