Healing Instant Pot Turmeric Bone Broth

2 pounds beef marrow bones

8 cups water

1 onion, peeled and quartered

3 inch piece turmeric root, peeled

2 celery stalks

2 carrots

2 garlic cloves, peeled

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

salt and black pepper, to taste


  1. Place all the ingredients in the Instant Pot.
  2. Close and seal the Instant pot.
  3. Turn the venting knob to SEALING and press PRESSURE COOK button.
  4. Adjust the timer to 2 hours.
  5. When finished cooking, allow to naturally release the pressure.
  6. Let cool slightly.
  7. Strain the broth using a fine metal strainer.
  8. Transfer the bone broth into an airtight containers or jars and refrigerate promptly.
  9. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for later use.
