Homemade Low Carb Pizza Bagel Bites (Yum!)

Ingredients

1 cup almond flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp Italian seasoning

1 large egg

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 ½ tbsp cream cheese

¼ cup low carb pizza sauce

2 tbsp chopped pepperoni slices

2 tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese

salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl.
  3. Cover with a lid.
  4. Microwave at 600W for 1 ½ minutes.
  5. Remove from the microwave oven and stir to combine.
  6. Add the almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, egg and Italian seasoning.
  7. Season to taste with salt.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Lightly grease the donut pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  10. Divide the batter into 6 portions and spread smoothly into the greased donut pan.
  11. Bake in preheated oven for 15- 25 minutes or until golden.
  12. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  13. Remove the bagels from the pan.
  14. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  15. Top with pizza sauce, parmesan cheese and chopped pepperoni.
  16. Bake for 5 minutes.
  17. Remove from the oven and serve.
