Hot and Cold Lemon Mint Water for Healthy Digestion

Ingredients

Hot version:

3 cups purified water

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 lemon, cut into thin slices

5-6 fresh mint leaves

1 tsp raw honey

Cold version:

3 cups purified water

1 lemon, cut into slices

1 lime cut into slices

56 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

Hot version:

  1. Bring the water to boil into a medium pot, and add the rest of the ingredients, except honey.
  2. Turn the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain and let cool until comfortable to drink.
  4. Add the honey and serve.

Cold version:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a pitcher and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Serve ice cold.
