Turmeric Powder Ginger Tea Recipe for Maximum Health Benefits

Ingredients

½ tsp ground turmeric

½ tsp ground ginger

zest of 1 organic lemon, cut into straps

2 tbsp lemon juice

3 cups water

raw honey or pure maple syrup to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the ground turmeric, ground ginger, lemon zest and water to a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium high heat and then remove from the heat.
  3. Strain out the tea.
  4. Add the lemon juice.
  5. Sweeten with raw honey or pure maple syrup to taste.
  6. Divide between two mugs and serve.
