Must-Try Low Carb Wraps – Easy, Healthy Wrap Recipe

For the wraps:

1 cup finely ground flaxseed meal

1 egg

½ cup boiling water

½ tsp salt

The rest of ingredients:

5 tbsp cream cheese

8 oz ham

lettuce leaves

diced tomatoes


  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the flaxseed meal and salt.
  2. Add the egg and mix to combine.
  3. Add the water and mix until well combined.
  4. Let the dough sit for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into 5 balls.
  6. Flatten the ball between 2 pieces of lightly greased parchment paper and roll into a 6 ½ – 7-inch circle.
  7. Grease a large pan with olive oil and heat over medium heat.
  8. Peel off top layer of parchment paper.
  9. Once hot, invert a wrap onto pan, wait 10 to 15 seconds, and then carefully peel off parchment.
  10. Cook for 1 minute, then flip it over and cook for 30-60 seconds on the other side.
  11. Repeat with remaining dough.
  12. Spread the cream cheese on each wrap.
  13. Top with ham, lettuce and diced tomatoes and roll up.
  14. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately.
