How to Make the Best Homemade Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients

½ cup raw or toasted hazelnuts

½ cup pitted dates

2 tsp cocoa powder

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 scoop (1 oz) chocolate protein powder

2 cups unsweetened chocolate almond milk

¼ cup sugar free dark chocolate chips

pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender and process to combine.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Serve immediately.
  4. If a firmer consistency is desired, transfer to an airtight container and freeze for 1-2 hours.
