Golden Milk Turmeric Latte to Fight Inflammation

Ingredients

1 cup milk of choice (dairy milk, nut milk, etc.)

½ tsp ground turmeric

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp ground ginger

pinch of freshly ground black pepper (optional)

1 tsp MCT or melted coconut oil

1 tsp honey

1 scoop (1/3 oz) collagen peptides (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan add the milk and heat over medium heat.
  2. When the milk is simmering, add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper (if using)  and honey and mix to combine.
  3. Cook for one minute.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a blender.
  5. Add MCT oil and collagen peptides (if using).
  6. Blend on high speed until frothy and combined.
  7. Pour in a mug and serve.
