Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Shake (ERMAHGERD!)
There was a period of time in my life where I couldn’t stand the thought of drinking protein shakes. It’s either they’re bland, sickly sweet or tasting like chemicals. I’m happy to report that I’ve recently rekindled my love for protein shakes, and it’s all thanks to getting a bit creative with how I make them. A great example of that is this peanut butter and jelly protein shake recipe. It mixes 100% natural creamy peanut butter with frozen strawberries to provide that classic PB and J taste, while also adding in a bit of vanilla flavored protein powder, unsweetened almond milk (I like to use vanilla flavored almond milk as well), and a bit of psyllium husk for added fiber. This one is a must-try for a high-protein fix.

Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 tbsp natural, creamy peanut butter
1 tbsp psyllium husk
½ to 1 cup ice
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
